Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth’s only hope in the face of the threat of an alien invasion. The first Looney Tunes movie released in theaters not to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film was originally intended to be an exclusive streaming release on the Max streaming service. After the company pulled out of the release, the film was shopped around to other distributors, with GFM Animation eventually acquiring worldwide distribution rights and trading the film for a theatrical release. Inside the meteor, when Daffy demonstrates his prowess with the levers, he pulls the lever to lower the car and pushes it to raise it. Porky also does this later in the scene. But when Porky and Petunia are tied up, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the car continues to descend. As the credits roll, Porky Pig makes his classic declaration, “That’s it, folks!” ” only to be interrupted by Daffy Duck, who tells him that this isn’t the end of the movie and that they need a sequel. I really enjoyed the movie.The story is a little, well, crazy, but what the hell expect more from Looney Tunes, but Daffy Duck and Porky Pig works like a movie. I have to say that the action was really over the top. Sure, we’re talking about Looney Tunes here, but still. it fell a bit short. There were some funny moments, no doubt, but that proper Looney Tunes spirit and humor was lacking. But otherwise, I can recommend the film for a hand-drawn cartoon in modern times.
