People love to hate things and will make this movie a target
This wasn’t the heartless money grab that people claimed it was – the movie has heart and a lot of story. That’s why I feel obligated to tell you that it’s not that bad. If you like these types of movies, blockbusters, you’ll probably like it; I know I did.

I feel like the CGI was on par with the first one, but they definitely improved the animal expressions (one of the biggest complaints about the first one). One of the most obvious mistakes is that the movie should have been longer; the story feels tight and you can feel it in the pacing.
