Synopsis

A TV series adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the sophisticated and brilliant detective Alex Cross

In episode 2, Cross tells Sampson that he smells like “mothballs and old spices.” In real life, Isaiah Mustafa appears in big Old Spice commercials as “the guy your man can smell like.” I’ve read a few of Alex Cross’s books and found them too terrifying for my taste, although I thought they were well-written with great stories and characters.

But the picture is so dark

I somehow found the show more enjoyable with equally good writing and characters.

It’s like the people responsible for the picture quality were at lunch

I have to turn off all the lights in my room and turn the TV on bright mode (I have an LG OLED).

If they fix that, it would be amazing

The cinematography is great in one respect, but in terms of image brightness it’s so far from all the other shows that it throws me off.
