There’s an emotional complexity to the story, which is good, but you might feel empty or think that little has been gained or experienced. It’s not as provocative as it could be, but it satisfies a little and excites a lot. It’s fundamentally a film about the human element of hiding and how these characters deal with fleeing dangerous situations, hiding from themselves and others (as evidenced by Elias’s small movements on Heraldo), and in the end each form of escape brings many unexpected results: passion, love, violence or death.

What a show, what a role!

Iago and Nataly were an interesting and sexually charged couple with great chemistry. Although I don’t find his acting that strong and his way of saying some lines sounds strange, I find him very suitable for the role. Heraldo becomes the center of attention with good reason, as he has a bizarre and sexy everyman charm that appeals to both women and men (we have a fourth worker in the hotel, played by Yuri Yamamoto, who likes Heraldo, but the script has reduced him to the background with whispered lines and then a pivotal moment). For a newcomer, Iago was quite good in the more risqué sex scenes. And then there’s Fábio Assunção.
