It seemed fake

I really wanted to like this movie, but my brain couldn’t convince me that Angelina Jolie was an opera singer. Even in the opening scene, I wasn’t sure it was her singing. I don’t know why these producers didn’t cast a real opera singer?

The scenery wasn’t that interesting

Or at least someone from Broadway could convince us. Much more should have been said about this extraordinary woman. Someone mentioned that the story is thin, and I agree.

Her accent didn’t work for me either
