Enjoy Your Life – Here’s a roundup of this year’s holiday-themed romantic movies to watch at home

Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win the team’s Fan of the Year award, judged by Fan Engagement Director Derrick. The film was shot at historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like it all year round. The locations that served as the Higman Family Store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ Restaurant are also family-owned businesses in real life.

The story was so sweet and funny

The square also has Christmas lights, just like in the movie. This movie was pure, fun, heartfelt joy, and I still smile about it. It was such a delightful love story and Christmas movie.

This movie was exactly what I needed in my life right now – a nice holiday escape

It appealed to me as a Roman Comma fan, but also to the sports fan in me who loves the excitement of rooting for his teams—both his own and the new recruits. Go, bosses! I also really enjoyed Derrick’s story, as he was lonely and depressed and perhaps a little lacking in a full and tradition-filled family life, and this warm, welcoming, colorful family really drew him in.

The writing was exquisite

and sweet, gentle, and skillfully coaxing some unexpected tears, delighted laughter, and the occasional audible "awwww" from my lips. And there was such believable chemistry between these two characters. Hunter King and Tyler Hines’ performances were flawless, genuine, and hilarious, and we could feel the energy and connection from both of them as they brought their characters to life.

This film was also enriched so beautifully by the supporting actors who really brought depth and color to this lovely story

The more I think about it, the more I want to watch it again and again and feel the happiness it brings.
