— Iclone 6.5 + Sony Vegas Pro 13 —
Does anyone own Sony Vegas Pro? In my version I can load ANY .wmv files, EXCEPT the ones that come directly out of Iclone. Has anyone tried rendering a .wmv video from Iclone and then import it to Sony Vegas?
I would be grateful if someone took the time to do the above process and report back here. I am sorry, I don’t expect technical support for SV, I just don’t know what else to do…
Thanks!!

You are correct. I just tried and it and the file wouldn’t load in Vegas. Sometimes there are subtle differences in how programs render with certain codecs. Now I typically don’t want to render out a .wmv from iClone because of the inherent poor quality, in general, of a .wmv compared to an un-compressed .avi or the even better quality of a .png image sequence.
Since you have Vegas the better route might be to render an un-compressed .avi ( or better still a .png sequence) take it to Vegas and render whatever type file you need from there. That should give you better quality than what iClone’s .wmv render might give you anyway…maybe.
