Synopsis

An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; find out whether their relationship will survive, despite their completely different lives and interfering families. The original name is “Shiksa”, which is also the last word spoken in the first episode. Adam Brody and Kristen Bell have incredible screen chemistry. I really liked this show – it turned out to be much more than I expected. It was easy to watch, believable, super funny and charming throughout all 10 episodes. However, I would have liked the episodes to be a bit longer – they cut the length of the episode down to about 26-30 minutes, but it also made it very easy to watch. I swallowed it all in one sitting last night. I look forward to Netflix confirming another season. If he doesn’t get another one, I’ll be upset. The series dragged on a bit, so I need a sequel. I’m already starting to watch the series for the second time.
